E·SPONDER ANNOUNCES RECENT WIN WITH NEW ZEALAND MCDEM FOR COUNTRY-WIDE SOLUTION
E·SPONDER is excited to announce an agreement with New Zealand's Ministry of Civil Defence & Emergency Management (MCDEM). The Ministry will deploy E·SPONDER's solution within the National Crisis Management Centre and make the system available to all regional Civil Defence Emergency Management (CDEM) groups to help improve coordination, response and information sharing during emergencies.
After a competitive review of leading emergency management solutions, MCDEM selected E·SPONDER for their unified command system platform. When deployed later this year, E·SPONDER will give both the Ministry and the CDEMs a central tool to manage information during emergencies and instantly locate, activate and direct nearby resources with a wide range of mapping, workflow and information dissemination features. The solution allows multiple agencies to stay informed and collaborate in a way that optimizes resource allocation during emergencies. KEEP READING... |
In 2003, George W. Bush issued Homeland Security Presidential Directive 5 (HSGP-5). The Department of Homeland Security developed the NIMS standard as part of that directive. Following NIMS protocol with NIMS standard products allows law enforcement commanders and leaders to share real-time information within their organization and with the public. If you're interested in learning more about NIMS, visit the FEMA NIMS page. If you're interested in police and law enforcement NIMS training, a great resource is training-classes.com.
If you already use NIMS in Law Enforcement and want to share hints and tips, just visit our Twitter and Facebook pages to share advice with your fellow first responders. |
