Creating a Command Center

Before the event:
The E•SPONDER software can be used to create a portal environment that allows for streamlined collaboration, including sharing documents and maps, on-line meetings, instant messaging, e-mail, forums, calendars, and more. Pre-planned events can be loaded into automated ICS forms, taking the place of traditional, paper based forms. This allows for multi-agency planning and approval, as well as submission and tracking of all pre-planned tasks online.
During the event:
Our team can assist in designing your command center: rooms are equipped with large, wall-sized screen monitors to display maps as well as planned and unplanned events, giving incident command teams the ability to watch as events unfold on a wall display. Laptops are disbursed at each station and configured with E•SPONDER.
As police units and agents call in to dispatch, data is entered into E•SPONDER allowing up-to-the-minute information to display on the wall screens. The system has complete access control with views based on role and rank. This configuration gives Commanders complete situational awareness, allowing them to compare planned activities to what is actually taking place during an event.
After the event:
All of the information loaded into the system is indexed and searchable making E•SPONDER ideal for after-action review. All data collected throughout the preplanning and event execution is automatically imported into after-action ICS-compliant reporting forms for distribution and filing.
